Adding MyNewTerm to Your Schudio Website

If your school uses MyNewTerm to advertise vacancies, you can embed the live feed directly into a page on your Schudio website. This makes it easy for parents and prospective staff to see current job openings on your site.

Before You Start

To get started, you’ll need the full code provided by MyNewTerm for your school. This will have been sent to you via email and includes three parts labelled A, B, and C.

You’ll only need Part B and Part C for your Schudio website.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1) Choose the Page

Decide which page you’d like to display your job vacancies on (e.g. a page titled “Job Vacancies”). You can create a new page or edit an existing one.

2) Paste the Embed Code

  1. Open the page in the CMS.
  2. Click into the content area where you want the vacancies to appear.
  3. Click the source code button (labelled Source).
  4. Paste in Part B of the code from your MyNewTerm email.
  5. Save the page.

This adds the visual part of the live vacancy feed.

3) Send Part C to the Schudio Team

For the feed to work correctly, we need to add a script to the page's JavaScript settings.

  • Copy Part C of the code from your MyNewTerm email.
  • Email it to support@schudio.com and tell us which page you've added the feed to.
  • We’ll complete the setup on your behalf. This step is required as clients can’t access JavaScript settings for security reasons.

What Happens Next?

Once both parts are in place, your vacancy feed will appear automatically. Any jobs added to MyNewTerm will be displayed straight away on your website.

If you later remove or close a job, it will no longer show.

Common Questions

Can I change how it looks?

Yes. You can adjust the colours and styling through your MyNewTerm employer preferences. Any changes you make there will update how it appears on your site.

What if it doesn’t display?

Check you’ve added Part B correctly and sent Part C to us. If it still doesn’t show, email us and we’ll help.
